If you love to dine in restaurants that have as good a history as they do food, you’ll want to check out Fort Wayne’s Oyster Bar! First opened in 1888 as an original saloon, The Oyster Bar was owned and operated by dozens of gentlemen from the years of 1888 to 1954. Renamed under each ownership, it wasn’t until 1954 that The Oyster Bar came to be. Remodeled in 1963, what you see today is what you would have seen back then. The Oyster Bar goes above and beyond to bring the best food to its tables while having fun at the same time. Offering lunch and dinner, you can order one of their seven varieties of oysters, a choice beef Filet Mignon, or a variety of seafood dishes, such as their Signature Walleye and Ahi Tuna. Their unique and hearty menu is a must-taste of Fort Wayne!
