History fills the walls of Jack Fry’s, all beginning with Jack Fry himself. Established in 1933 by Jack and his wife, Flossie, Jack Fry’s became a sportsman’s hangout for the locals, as well as a place to meet for business affairs in “the back room”. Eventually purchased by the current owner, the restaurant still showcases its history with photographs on the walls, including those of Jack and Flossie, and live jazz reminiscent of the good ‘ol days. The menu features dishes of American bistro fare with Southern influence; local favorites include the Spicy Fried Oysters, Crispy Risotto Balls, and Chicken Saltimbocca. Reservations are recommended at this much-loved spot!
