Take a trip back to the good old days with a visit to Fort Wayne’s famous Coney Island! Local to Fort Wayne since 1914, Coney Island is not only one of The Fort’s most beloved establishments, but it’s also the oldest coney stand in America! Not much has changed since they opened their doors in the early 1900s, but not much has needed to. Coney Island features the same 4-5 menu items that it offered when it originally opened, including their famous “Coney Dog” (which sells close to 2,000 a day!). A handful of menu items may not seem like a lot, but there’s always a line out the door with locals and tourists alike. We promise it’s worth the wait!

FAQ:

What menu items are offered? Coney Island offers Coney Dogs, chili, hamburgers & cheeseburgers, baked beans, chips, homemade pie, and bottled soda.

Is Coney Island open year-round? Yep! Coney Island is open seven days a week year-round, excluding major holidays. Its busiest season is during Christmas when guests like to visit after viewing the downtown lights!

Is Coney Island wheelchair accessible? It is, however it could be difficult. It is very tight inside the restaurant and not easy for wheelchair users. We would suggest ordering your Conies and eating them somewhere nearby like the courthouse lawn!
